Arroyo Food Co-op extends opening hours, adds seafood and raw milk to product line

As of January 19, the Arroyo Food Co-op will be open seven days a week. It is also expanding its offerings by adding locally and sustainably harvested seafood and raw milk to the product line. Beginning January 21, Community Seafood, a community supported fishery in Santa Barbara, and Organic Pastures, a raw milk dairy, will deliver to the co-op on Wednesday afternoons. The new store hours will be 4-7 p.m. Monday through Fridays, and 11 a.m.-6 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.

In an email to subscribers the Arroyo Food Co-op — it is the only cooperative grocery store on the L.A. Eastside — also announced that it plans on bringing produce and bulk items to the store later this year. To make the goal possible it is seeking donations for facility upgrades.
